Welcome to Thought Capital! My name is Chris Eldridge and this site is my home and if you are here you can learn a bit about me and what drives me.

My goal in life isn’t to be a superstar. That’s not my go. Sure I have aspirations and hopes and dreams but I want to be the guy that plays some small part along the way for the people that will change the world. If I can give one idea, ask one thought provoking question, or connect someone with someone else important that then gets leveraged in to something spectacular then that will be good for me.

So who am I? Well I’m a boy who grew up in Hobart, Tasmania. My father lectured in South-East Asian Politics and my mother taught English as a Second Language to migrants and refugees. And I liked maths and science!?! Odd mix, but that is what has shaped me as a person. I love both the arts and the sciences. I love the role that people play in all that and it turns out I also love business – you can find the business that crystallised my career and brought my learnings together here at www.4impact.com.

So my interests and my perspective can be a little different. I love people and trying to understand why they see things the way they do, even when I don’t agree. My life now is about asking questions and continuing to be curious.

My interests with Thought Capital is to bring my personal and business interests together. I’ve got interests in a number of businesses and my learnings make me useful as an advisory and mentor with real-world experience growing a sizeable business, as opposed to many of the business consultants who’ve read about it but never actually done it.
